Rules are:
>Keep Spider/Symbiote related Ideas to a minimum (Allowed but not encouraged)
>Powers can be inspired by other Marvel Heroes but direct copies are not desired
>Origin Story for said powers preferred

So, just one spider power like web-shooting or spider-sense?

I don't get this. Super strength is limited to only being able to lift a certain amount? An item like Thor's hammer can be used, but not the same object, and can be carried by multiple people? She can have power armour, but it can't look like Iron man's or function like his?

It'd be simpler to just say "Make a Superhero Alter-Ego for Mary Jane Watson. No Spider/Symbiote powers."

I said 'to a minimum' because I knew people were gonna bring up Iron-Spider/Spinneret regardless and thought to just let those people get a word in, even if its a little counterproductive.

And yeah my wording was a little shit. I didn't want people to go 'MJ but shes just Captain Marvel' so that was my best idea of deterring it.

Make Mary Jane Red Sonja. Heavily based on the existing idea in an old and new versions of Spider-Man and Red Sonja. Mary Jane gets a sword and is possesed by the warrior and transformed into Red Sonja. And since she's acting again LA would be the perfect place to face some demons, and Gath

Well the sword is magic, and still bound to Red Sonja. Plus two iterations of the character already done it with Mary Jane

The first one, Mary Jane's body transformed into Sonja when she held the sword

The second one, Sonja possesed Mary Jane's body when she held the sword again

It depends which can work. Either alter ego or body shift. But still have to involve alot of magic to do it. And would have to be tied by both Spider-Man and Conan if Mary Jane is going to become Red Sonja's vessel

Either way, I feel Red Sonja is the most obvious one for Mary Jane as she done it twice already

Yeah. Honestly, just make her Firestar; the Amazing Friends version (in her civvie outfit) looked an awful lot like the Romita style MJ to begin with and this allows her to keep pace with him as he webswings all over NYC.

You could even use this powerset to explain why she doesn't just fight crime with him 24/7: it can be stupidly powerful and someone in the Parker household has to hold down a job. You don't need to microwave bank robbers or car thieves, either. So she still has a normal career and spends free time helping out Peter or you know the big guns are out when Spidey calls in his wife to help with some serious shit.

It's a power suit ala Kamen Rider that enhances her abilities tenfold..along with a Rider belt. Oh and she can combine with her ride, a motorcycle to become a mini mecha that has rocket punches, finger drill missiles and the wheels are boomerang saucers.

Let some fucking characters that are just there for character interaction and not superheroics be there JUST for the fucking character interaction.
MJ doesn't need to be able to solve superhero issues to be Peter's love interest. Let her be a normal woman in a relationship with a superhero.
