That aside obviously you have to be the laziest most dismissive person to make the climax of your animated movie be entirely taken from another animated movie's climax, that's supposed to be the conflict uniting all the plot elements before the catharsis, and if you wrote the movie right then your climax should be unique to the specific circumstances of your own movie. Aladdin tricked Jafar because he learned throughout the movie that trying to be something you're not makes you weaker rather than stronger. Danny had no real journey in the movie and just listened when the villain spelled out his very transparent ambitions.
None of that needed to be said because the short answer is Butch is bad at writing and just straight up no shame copies what he sees
