>>109975437Anon, I've been there before. I had a waifu I pretended was my girlfriend. What I did eventually was realize I wanted a real wife, and how awkward it would be to bring this character into any relationship I'd have. It was unsustainable for the future. So, what I did was break up with her, and tried explaining to her why we had to break up, which was that she wasn't real. I actually told her she wasn't real too. I cried a lot. I still wasn't completely over it, but that went a long way to resolving it, and I just never let myself fantasize about that anymore, so it went away with time. The best thing to do is never start to fantasize about that in the first place. You know she can't be your girlfriend, so you have to accept that. If you don't now, it will be harder later, and eventually you'll wind up in a bad place. Save yourself the trouble, and just don't entertain the idea.
Now, with that said, I encourage you to feel out your emotions and identify what's going on. One thing you should ask yourself is WHY you feel the way you do about her. For example, do you care about her romantically or is it like a paternal "love and protect" sort of feeling? I had that feeling just last week and into this week, for a certain character from a certain cartoon movie. Don't pretend you don't know who I'm talking about. When I realized she was going to be loved and happy, my feelings cleared up about it.

Situationally at least, she's clearly closer to Applejack. In terms of personality, I'm not sure whether anypony fits exactly right. She seems like a mixture of many.
