Hard disagree there. Just a bunch of annoying, unoriginal references to whatever video game, anime or movie the boarder watched that week with a very poorly tied together story and not well thought out.

It's just riding off annoying nostalgia fads and does it without any flavor of it's own. not a lot of effort going in to it, even conceptually

having an extra 11-minute epilouge ep was a really smart decision; Let's Fight to the End would've been an alright finale by itself (albeit it's easy to poke holes in some parts), but the show would've been lesser for not having Thank Your For Watching the Show

I think it at least had some good designs and a decent philosophy to it. I can understand why people loved it and its characters since for the most part it wanted to portray a fun and colorful world with characters you can sort of relate to and how they come together.
And it seemed like they did plan the story out just not within the episodes they were given to do it?
But yeah, the show could've been better, I'm not really surprised it didn't last longer, but I acknowledge that people liked it so it sucks for them.

I waited since Lakewood Plaza Turbo got posted online to see this show come into action. 6 years later (technically), the long journey has ended. Thank you KObros, it was fun while it lasted. It's one of the few shows of the 2010s that never disappointed me.

Hey it's more that can be said for other people. If he's living with Sugar there's always the potential for work or collaboration later on down the line. Plus the stability of it all. Even if OK KO wasn't the mega-success Steven Universe was, it still got made. There are a lot of people in the animation industry, so to have a show at all is a blessing in itself.

yeah i don't count that last year since it was bad, vamber and prohyas were pretty insufferable at the end, and they rushed to it, 1st season magiswords is pretty much the best character wise, but the other seasons were more creative with the magiswords

Is not their fault Cartoon Network wants to pull the plug on the show this soon. That's why they had to wrap uo everything in one last episode. The ratings were tanking and it seems people weren't interested in this show. Thus ending up lasting alot less than expected.

Dumping these reactions for ya one last time! I had a lot of fun making these to share with you guys. The show may not have been perfect, but I thought it was pretty cute and had a fun story. Both finales were great, but I wish they could have extended the reunion scene after the gang came back to life. It also would have been better if K.O. became PKO since the "balance" makes more sense that way.

Jesus, that epilogue mad me kind of sad. It definitely shows that they were cut off prematurely, there was so much material there for future episodes. At least they wrapped it all up in a pretty bow compared to Adventure Time's bullshit so maybe ending after 3 seasons is a good thing.

The setting. OK KO had a excellent premise cause it allowed for ANYTHING to happen. Any type of character design was on the table because it was a world of bendable rules in which heroes and villains of any type and genre existed, so it gave away to a bunch of unique characters designs that didn't have to be tied to a particular setting.

Also, worlds of videogamey magical-yet-mundane is one of my guilty pleasure tropes alongside HEroes and Villains doing normal daily things.

I liked the episodes where they actually remembered to be fun & entertaining. This finale felt like 90% of the show though: art like a really bad & lazy KC Green impression, and cutesy bullshit instead of actual comedy.

I don't care if they shoehorned in a cliched "life moves fast" message to try and force you to feel sad. Bully for you if you enjoyed this series a lot, but all these people acting like this is the end of a truly great landmark series is just sad.

I know this show gets a lot amount of flack for sometimes undeserved reasons, but I'll never get the people praising it like it's one of the best cartoons of the decade. The show gets a lot of praise because it's goofy, earnest fun that maintained its tone to the very end. In a decade where so many series either never improve or get up their own asses with their themes, messages and lore, having a show that maintains a fine balance.

That's not to say that the show was perfect or anything, just really consistent within its own niche.

Adventure Time had the huge advantage of its era. It was the first major modern cartoon of its kind where it had ANY real 'lore' at all. It premiered when its quirky, offbeat humor was fresh and still well liked. It premiered after an insane cartoon drought when the only other options were Chowder and Flapjack, which were just ending when AT premiered. Nick was practically devoid of animation at that time and no other cartoon network was even on the radar. Keep in mind AT was also the first cartoon that premiered after the CN real block stopped so people were especially excited. It was the perfect storm to gain interest and fortunately had the quality to keep that interest. The drip feeding of lore sparked even more interested and it's not an understatement to say that while Flapjack and Chowder definitely started a brief renaissance, AT was what cemented it as an actual renaissance and not just a couple lucky hits.
