>>109743232> Superman was killing peopleKilling a single villain to save 8 billion lives isn't dark.
> and threatening them with death and dismembermentJust Lex who just tossed the love of his life off a roof and who murdered a Senate full of people.
Main comic universe Superman threatens people all the time. He once threatened to rip Silver Banshee's head off when he found her with tons of dead bodies lined up in the streets and he threatened to shove a gun up a robbers ass if he fired at him and it deflected into another passenger.
> We barely see Superman helping peopleThat's all he does in Mos from the bus, to the oil rig to Lois in the ice, to the billions he saves by stopping the world engine/zod.
> except for a very poorly done montage that seems more designed to make humanity seem pitifulNo its meant to make then seem conflicted and naturally having a massive mix of reactions to Superman like they would in the real fucking world.
> and Superman tiredNot tired of saving people, just tired of the negative reactions to him saving people.
You see him fully smiling when rescuing the Mexican girl until they start "worshiping" him and then he becomes uncomfortable rightfully.
> than it does help Superman come off as the boy-scout he should be.Not every god damn version of Superman needs to be that. We can have just normal played straight humanized superhero versions of Superman who aren't silly or naively childish.
