Good criteria: does the editing make sense, are the story beats logically consistent, are the characters human and if not, are they consistent to the tone and theme of the media, etc.
Bad criteria: does the adaptation bear fidelity to its progenitor, do the characters talk in a way that resembles reality, are the characters likable, etc.
In other words, be able to do more than say whether you liked it or not, and explain why you didn't like it in a way that others can understand, and can agree or disagree with.
