The implication is that something happened to her, and now she's basically a shell of a person, rarely speaking in anything barely above a whisper. Of all the OCs, she's the one most heavily involved with the Sonic Forces-esque backstory- which makes some sense, as she's literally based off the Player Avatar according to the writers.
Starline is a Platypus. He also ticks a few "roll eyes at Another OC" boxes. Like Blaze, he's got his own Special Power Stones-gimmick. He has a glove which lets him interact with a thing called the "Warp Topaz"- though he says it took him a nebulous "long time" to actually make the stone work. He's a fanboy of Eggman, to the point that he's ultimately responsible for the current Zombot plot- because he's invented the IDW equivalent of Roboticization- a nanomachine-like goop. However, after he's seen what Eggman's *really* like, he's starting to have second thoughts.
The "Metal Virus" is also inspired by Forces- there was a skin option that gave the Avatar's skin a metallic sheen.
R&T are skunk brothers. They speak in bad rhymes, and are dumb muscle. That said, they managed to take over a town in the backstory, and were at least smart enough to hoard the local weaponry so the populace couldn't fight back, or leave without facing the robot horde literally camping outside the walls. I ranked them above the others in regards to character because, Tumble, the larger skunk, is extremely sensitive about his lack of tail. To the point that when Starline recruited them to find Eggman- who'd been an amnesiac at the start of the story -with the promise of weapons, Tumble just opted for a tail-flail. Which, when it was broken by Sonic, caused him to break down crying.
