What did you think of The Legends of Treasure Island?

I think the soundtrack is great, but the rest of the effort is misplaced.
The voice actors seem to be stuck in dramatic mode and all of them have British accents.
The animation seems really smooth, but there's a clear lack of timing and storyboard supervisor so the scenes do not connect properly. In one scene a character could be tied up only to be running and captured again in the next scene.
Plot wise it feels too slow. Often the characters just sit in 1 place trying to figure out the plot and the portions are very large instead of segmented into tiny story pieces. I think this is one of those cartoons which could have used the 11 minute format.
