>>109604767The story my mind seems to be getting from all of these pics is that these nanny robots are popular among the uber rich who use them so they don't have to spend time with the kids. The nanny bots then begin to develop a more human sense of self as they are the ones having the raise the child.
Once the girl is older and the nanny bot is displaying more human emotion that she should, the father or the mother either decides to have her serviced, junk her because she's no longer necessary, or replace her with a newer model. Or it could be that the nanny bot was accidentally damaged by something the daughter did and it's just cheaper to get a new one then to fix an older model.
Since the daughter is at a fussy moody age, the nanny bot probably doesn't protest her own dismissal.
Cue "waking up" with the goth girl who gets her second hand (either through theft, salvaging, or a purchase) and begins repairing the nanny bot. Nanny bot's cheerfulness is a bit grating, but she does clean the house/garage/work area and make things more organized than they've ever been.
From there it can go any number of ways, but typically it's that the family isn't happy with the replacement. The old model is dealing with feelings of depression which finally allows the goth to empathize with her.
The main issue is the source of conflict with drives the story.
