Server farms require almost no ongoing maintenance, sometimes you'll have a breakdown, but they're usually something that can be predicted by months, and most server farms have back-ups in play, so even when one breaks down, they can pick up from there.
Most renewable energy is trash. Nuclear energy, from start to finish is cleaner by a wide margin.
