The spiderman I grew up liking was in the Amazing spiderfriends, the 90's cartoon...some of it, and in the late 80's to mid 90's run.
I quite honestly gave up on my slavish devotion to spiderman as a character with the first fucking installment of maximum carnage.
That wasn't spiderman.
That wasn't good
That was the bad bloody painful assholery that I distanced myself from in the other comics.
I just gave up and picked up random spiderman comics after that. When the clone dumpsterfire and spiderman wasn't spiderman but a clone thing started I just shook my head and realized that I stopped just in time.
Hell the only reason I came back to comics and /co/ in the first place was because I heard about spiderman unmasking in the civil war debacle.
Then I started reading more comics and my love of comics was reignited.
Then OMD happened and it was snuffed out. Like my lust after pounding out the fat milf from next door.
I'm not even sure why i'm on /co/ right now.
A few things like the maker thing from ultimates and evil parallax as the fallen hero was good.
But I jsut don't have it in me anymore.
I'm not even a bitter old dick about it. I'm just heartbroken over how bad and grossly fucked up the big two are.
Slott is part of the talentless loser brigade that wants to leave their fucking mark on this sinking ship of a comic industry.
THey are petty bitter losers with nothing going for them except for their name and their false legacy.
And they are more then willing to throw beloved characters under the bus to do it.
Entire industry are people like slott and fresh out of "education" aka brainwashing LITTERAL FUCKING BRAINWASHING colleges shitting on the brand.
Sadly, those people are going to get the hot thick cock of realtiy slapping them in the face when they lose thier jobs.
