I'm sorry, but I just cant agree. >"Alone Together"
This episode is probably the strongest one about identity, but I feel like it had a lot more to do with growing up than it did with gender stuff.>"We Need to Talk"
They are barely in it.>"Beach City Drift"
This episode was more about dealing with people who have wronged you, and moving on from hurt than identity.>"Crack the Whip"
This episode is about Amethyst's issues, not even really Stevonnie at all.>"Mindful Education"
This episode touches on identity, but really it's more about processing trauma and guilt. It's also a great episode in general.>"Lars of the Stars" and "Jungle Moon"
A survival story that had nothing to do with identity at all, aside from Steven's connection to Pink Diamond, which is hardly a "trans" thing.>"Together Alone" and "Escapism"
These might be the only episodes that I'm willing to admit are focused on identity, and could be seen as a metaphor for being trans or non-binary.
I mean, I'm as annoyed by forced, pandering LGBT shit as anyone else, but I just don't see how Stevonnie has been flanderized into a mouthpiece for trans/intersex stuff. Like, at all. I feel like you're projecting your annoyance with a trend in animation onto a character who doesn't really deserve it.
