>>109481249>Wait, let me take my gun out of my gun-shaped gun casepersonally, I wouldn't have minded if they'd gone sort of a TMNT route for the designs (only the designs, Playmates can't do anything else right) where they're a three-dimensional representation of what limited cheap 2D animation can make. Angles rounded out, more muscular or cloth sculpting where appropriate, give the figure a better spot for articulation to go in (again playmates didn't do this, but for other lines that helps). Especially the earliest ones, that weren't really trying to be the cartoon or comic designs specifically, but they still looked 'right'
perfect example, Croc isn't supposed to literally only have a few bumps. it's just the animation would only add a few bumps at a time, to suggest bumpy skin all over.
