>>109253915Mike Judge is clearly conservative. Hank Hill is one of the few positive male role models and father figures on TV. He's repulsed by the prospect of cheating on his wife. He takes pride in his work. Loves taking care of his property and his lawn. Drinks, but never gets drunk. Loves his son in spite of having difficulty understanding his odd behavior. His wife is more annoying than TV wives are generally allowed to be, but is also a good person. The show constantly satirizes busybody bureaucratic 'twig boys' who interfere with normal life.
>limiting water usage>accusing hank of abusing bobby and threatening to take him away>preventing a small business from firing a drug addictEtc. The show mocks Hanks stick-in-the-mud nature and Dale's paranoia gently but is totally vicious towards left wing ideologues. Feminists who wear shirts with words on their chest and then get mad at people for looking at them, hippies overdosing on bad batches of herbal ecstasy, etc.
He did Office Space but that is more against large bureaucracies than capitalism per se.
He also did Extract which satirizes running a small business and dealing with annoying employees from the boss' point of view, and The Goode Family which satirizes and mocks environmentalism (it failed, because unlike with King of the Hill where Judge clearly likes the protagonists, he seemed to dislike the Goodes). He appeared on the Alex Jones show and told Alex he's against gun control because he doesn't believe it works.
As for Beavis and Butthead they're meant to be idiots, albeit they also sometimes give a hard time to other idiots, or shitty bands, in a satisfying way.
