That taken with the whole excessive focus on Eclipsa deserving the throne because she has "purer" blood (proven wrong in the end, yes, but still treated as the truth for like a season and so ultimately having a bigger impact on what fans will remember) sorta comes off as saying "bloodline is literally everything, even who you're very distantly related to informs your entire place in life and what you will end up doing." Which could be as argued as true in some situations, but seems like kind of an unfitting implication for a show trying to promote the message that race doesn't matter and we should all just get along, man
also maybe some eugenics stuff that I'm not gonna get into because even I think that one's kind of a stretch
