Jackie's girlfriend literally has nothing. She appears completely as a token gay to hit every diversity quota box. The same thing with Sabrina wanting a trans dress Macro, even though crossdressing doesn't immediately mean trans. The same thing with Star suddenly having bisexual feelings for a woman after four seasons of being aggressively hetero.
This is why people fucking hate Sabrina's "inclusiveness". It's hollow, shallow, and only meant to check a box. On the contrast, at LEAST Rebecca Sugar actually does shit with her inclusive characters, even the one-off's.
