>>108713528>She did get framed though
I was going to be like NO SHE FUCKING DIDN'T but yeah okay I forgot Cornonation, because it lasted like 5 literal minutes, was resolved cleanly, and Rhombulus got arrested and then killed. It had no negative impact whatsoever on Eclipsa, like everything that ever happened to her throughout the entire series.>she wasn't the least bit offended by any of the shit she was accused of
It was awful. She was a complete Mary Sue because absolutely nothing ever seemed to bother or inconvenience her at all, and if anything ever did she was revealed to be completely in the right. It was nauseating.
If she was treated more harshly and THEN revealed to be good I could have actually felt sympathy, but as it was, it was shit. Nothing bothered her at all and then she was completely in the right and if you're in the wrong for disliking her because she's good.
It's the entire reason people were expecting her to be revealed to be evil right up until the very last episode. Star loves her as soon as she lays eyes upon her, she won't be swayed from thinking she's good... and then that's it, she's just good and you're supposed to love her, even though the show itself gives no real reason for you to.>then I guess it's hers
That's just so fucking stupid, in-universe and out. It was not stolen from her. She left the kingdom with the spellbook and wand. It just felt like the writers either feeling Star keeping the crown would be too heavy for a kids' show or just wanted to lavish all their attention on Eclipsa, their obvious new favorite character.>and then star came to the came conclusion I did
I really want to be mean and be like "congratulations, you're both idiots" but I'm not trying to be an asshole.
So I guess I'll just say that I think Star's decision and where the story went was the shittiest of shit writing and that I can't believe so many fans thought that was a good development when something better (Star as queen was) RIGHT THERE
