She usually finds Stan, who she mistakes Ford for because twins, repulsive but suddenly finds him attractive even though he hasn't physically changed because now he's acting all sciency.
I guess it's also a way of showing why Pacifica is attracted to Dipper too. He has the same passionate nerdy attitude that Ford has and Pacifica likes that.
