>gets tired of Peter's backsass and finally decides to confront him physically, but gets one-punch KOd by his bullying victim in front of the whole school
>is actually named Eugene like a fucking dork
I know people on 4chins have this weird Stockholm syndrome where they think bullies are super cool, but that's not who Flash was. He was a character you're supposed to laugh at. Because Ditko was a fucking nerd who undoubtedly got bullied and used Spider-Man as a way to get back to his bully.

And I understand that he eventually got further development that made him sympathetic and had him grow into a likable character, but pretending that's who he was during Peter's high school years is revisionism.
