>>108571720>>108571788He claimed to get good grades, but in fact barely passed. He was "reasonably" normal as far as we know.
His life trajectory could have been altered drastically if his parents simply admitted that their son was not only autistic, but probably borderline retarded (which I don't know if he actually is, but his mental deficiencies seem well beyond simply lacking in social intelligence,) as well as encouraged him to change to meet the expectations of the world around him, rather than the other way around (actively encouraging his paranoia.)
Then he might have been placed in special education, learned actual coping skills, and gotten the help he needed. Instead, he became an entitled, isolated manbaby who believes he can do no wrong and that everyone is both out to get him and owes him everything.
It's sad. Honestly, people often say "Bob did nothing wrong," but in fact Barb and Bob are completely to blame. He could've been a near-retarded guy with childish hobbies and a menial job that doesn't involve interacting with people and maybe even a retarded gf. He could've been that lovable adult who taught children how to play TCG's and board games at the game place.
