>>108013774Imagine her, at the heights of her power, getting angry at Eugene:
"Cassandra, oh, Cass!" cried Rapunzel, brimming with energy, bright gold and bright blue swirling about her. "Cass, I have to punish you again!"
Cassandra squirmed away from the sound, as though the very words hurt her. But soon she had plenty of real hurt to deal with: Rapunzel raised her hand, and brilliant gold and blue flickered from it, and Cassandra screamed as the absolute power of the Sundrop and Moonstone bent themselves upon her, making her scream and writhe as agony lit every vein and fiber she possessed.
Eugene had seen this countless times. But this time, maybe, he mighty say something. "Ah, Rapun..." his throat was dry from lack of use. "Rapunz... Rapunzel, please..."
"WHAT???" snarled Rapunzel, and blue and gold halos of power swirled around her, and the Sun and the Moon both went into eclipse. Eugene was filled with fear; the eclipse only happened when she was angry. "Oh, WHAT is it, Eugene?" she whispered, but also shouted, a slurry of deep and light voices in the air. "Do you have anything to SAY?"
Eugene felt all the anger of Sun and Moon bend on him. He knelt, his chains clinking as he did. "No, Blondie. No, you're fine. I love you, you know?"
"Gooood," cooed Rapunzel, the blue fires of the Moonstone licking her as her anger surfaced again. "Now, CASS, where were we...?" and the pain and the brightness lanced out again.
