I hate those ads for any media where the voice over guy says something and they cut to a clip of characters reacting to it. Those ones where they cut audio out of one scene and place it over a different reaction scene really fucking annoy me too because they're obnoxiously out of place. A character facepalming while shouting "what" is that type. Also ones where it would make sense but the tone isn't appropriate for the scene/animation.

The best way to watch movies, in my experience, is to skip trailers and go in completely blind or with a vague synopsis.

The only example I can think of is Spy Kids 2, which always stuck out to me even when I was young, but I know there must be others.
