What you desire is Socialism, essentially the government acts as a Nanny state and takes care of its citizens via education, healthcare, occupation and supplementary income while retaining control over the economics to make sure everything is fair and equal between all citizens.
This system of government can work, however; it only works in governments that are already wealthy and have lots of physical or virtual capital that do not wish to engage in globalized economic trade, or wants to deal in immigration.
Essentially, for a society to work like this, you need to be isolationist, anti-immigrant, and anti-tourist, while at the same time regulatory to keep from some citizens from earning more than other citizens. No one is allowed to be "The Upper Crust." because all citizens are equal.
You cannot refuse work unless you are so broken that you cannot, something that will be evaluated by the government (If you can sit behind a computer desk and type, then you are able to work and will likewise have employment) You'd literally have to be "Can't fucking see AND loss of limbs to not work"
That also being said, in a society of equalists, long term prisons wouldn't be a thing as violent crimes are punishable by expidited death, and lesser crimes are punishable by work camps and labor.
To make matters worse, you cannot have everything you desire, and have to choose what you will get or not.

Stealing would be considered a crime punishable by death, along with pirating because "We gotta keep things equal."
The house you'd live in would be owned by the government, the clothes you would wear would be owned by the government. Everything would be monitored
