>>107636720>I'm still holding out for Danny to say "Bona To Vada" and for Flex's Hero of the Beach halo to manifest.>>107636796>Me too. This entire show is fan service, so I’m pretty sure we’ll get both. Like, the final shot for the season will probably be the whole team walking hand in hand down Danny while the Cure plays. They'll probably do the Jane and Cliff / Danny ending eventually.
Bona to vada, no. Danny was clearly made contemporary with that retarded "genderqueer" / "preferred pronoun" shit instead of having him use old fashioned gay slang because the writers didn't trust the audience enough to get it.
Hero of the Beach halo also probably no. You guys latched onto that and kept on talking about it here for some reason ever since Flex was first referenced on the show, but it's seriously not something anyone else cares about that much. It's a funny little detail Grant threw in, not an important part of the character.
The "fan service" was making Flex a character on the show. They're not going through every little comic detail like Wally Sage being a psychic child who drew a "My Greenest Adventure" comic in green crayon creating Flex in the process and Flex getting his powers from a mysterious man with a TV on his head smoking three cigarinos who tells him to drop a coupon into the third mailbox he sees on the ninth day of the month so he can get the muscle mystery book mailed to him, go back to the beach to both beat up his bully and push his former crush into the sand for being a tramp, and proceed to fight villains like a doctor with a UFO for a head who's married to a haddock and plays golf.
