>>107545265All I know is that Lord & Miller had worked with Emily Spivey in the past on The Last Man on Earth. This duo is always busy helping on different projects, so they might’ve just been generous enough to lend some money/resources to get their old colleague’s show going.
I can’t help but hope that Lord & Miller were just too busy to have a bigger role in Bless the Harts’s development. They come from a fucking ANIMATION BACKGROUND: CwaCoM, The LEGO Movie, and Into the Spider-Verse all show great respect for the medium, and even Clone High actually tried to look appealing (fucking Carey Yost was a designer on it).
I was really crossing my fingers for Bless the Harts to at least look presentable, but I guess I forgot that the standards for adult animation will never change.
