Part of the issue, is that it REALLY pisses Disney that the bad guys in Star Wars are the most popular characters. These fuckers shill, quite openly and without ANY cognitive awareness of the damage that they have done to the fandom when they do it, that ANYONE who likes the Empire, Vader, First Order etc are literal Nazis. And that you are only, ONLY allowed to like the Rebels.
