People on the internet have been whining about Marvel willingly handing the license over to platformer holders for them to make exclusives, but it's a good thing. Thanks to Sony and Nintendo we're actually getting decent budget, actually good games from studios like Insomniac and Team Ninja as opposed to the shovelware Activision shat out for over a decade.

I'm still so disappointed Ultimate Alliance 2 was a Civil War game. They even put in one off hand line of dialogue from Thor to say Galactus, who was set up as the next main villain at the end of the first game, was beaten off screen.

My dream is for Nintendo to make a bunch of movies when video game movies really start to take off and are actually good, culminating in a Super Smash Bros. movie.

That's including an F-Zero movie too, which could be incredible. Think the Speed Racer movie but with some superheroics on the side.

I read up on the fuckfest of the game's handling that basically killed whatever goodwill it gained after having a relatively initial lukewarm reception, it's maddening.
