It does seem out of character but hey, girls have dated girls after dating guys before, it could happen. Her being a pierced brown butch right after Cotugno did Brunzetta the same way is also groanworthy. But, really why I'm mad is it's just another example that the show is following Cotugno's vision, not Nefcy's. Cotugno posted about her theory that Jackie would date chicks long ago, and we all laughed it off. As a matter of fact every element of the show that is terrible and a drag can be traced back to Cotugno's Tumblr, a year or more before it appeared in the show. I have been losing faith in the direction of the show for a long time but this incident really made it clear why the show got so bad and is not going to turn around. Cotugno is behind it. That's the real thing that's upsetting people, it's not just that we hate lesbians or whatever.
