There's 3 absolutely crucial things you need if you do actually make the show.
1. Good writing. Meaning: MAKE SURE SHIT MAKES SENSE.
2. Good pacing. Make sure shit doesn't happen too fast or too slow.
3. And this is important. Voice acting direction. Pretty crucial if you got inspiration from Star. Make sure the shit the VA's say sounds good. I don't care if you think you're taking up too much of their time, or demanding too much from them. Do it Right or don't do it at all. If they're new VA's or old, it doesn't matter, make them say what you want, and how you want. You're paying them to VA, get them to do it right, same if they volunteered, they wanted to do it, make em do it right. Listen to them if they think it'd work good This way or That, but don't just move on to the next line of dialogue just because you've spent too long on it. Pacing also applies to this. I've watched Star, its voice acting is good, the voice acting pacing is atrocious 3/4 of the time.
