>>106713377Generally he doesn't. In his early stories he did. Later when his character was more fleshed out he was portrayed with a strong aversion to it. Occasionally a writer will make him kill or use a gun, to try to shake things up, or shock people, but generally in most portrayals his no-kill rule has been a strong part of his character.
Technically vampires are undead anyway, though.
