Staying “on-model” is all fun and games until you’re stuck with a cheap animation studio that doesn’t flatter your cartoony designs. Mighty Magiswords’s stiff animation was a big reason why I felt less inclined to keep watching after the first couple episodes (CN really thought they could get away with airing web-tier animation on TV). The show’s writing also lacked the pacing, timing, and occasional heartfelt slow moments that you’d get from OK K.O.!.
I agree that Enid needs to be knocked down a peg, but she’s generally still pretty fun. And don’t you dare dismiss OK K.O.!’s plethora of god-tier waifus
