Given she immediately traded up to Buzz in TS1 and disbelieved Woody during the Sid Room thing with Buzz's arm there could be some merit in painting Bo as someone who looks out for herself and her own interests before anyone else. She wasn't even really Andy's toy and after Jessie and Bullseye's arrival we don't know how the dynamics changed either.

There might be some correlation in 'identity' as a toy between her and Sporky and how it messes them up after achieving sentience. Sporky was always meant to be disposable, Bo was meant to be a lamp piece.
