Justício, Paragon of Liberty.
Once an ordinary child on a school field trip to the Statue of Liberty, Juan Lopez became the sole survivor of tragedy when a bolt of lightning struck the monument while his class was on the observation deck. As he was accidentally standing beneath the center spoke of the statue's crown, he was spared and was granted a vision of Lady Liberty herself.
"Lo!" she spoke in a commanding voice, "You, my son, have been chosen. Go forth and correct societies ills! Bring justice to the wrongdoers and liberate the downtrodden! Cast your righteous light upon the dark of the world."
On that day, Juan was reborn as Justício, intent on making Lady Liberty proud. She didn't give him much guidance, and for 20 years the loon has been wearing his bathrobe and a zip-tie crown to City Council meetings to protest legislature in the fine town of Bakersfield, California.
