Do you really believe they will release Episode X so soon? I don't doubt for a second that Disney will release a spin off, but a spin off doesn't make big numbers like main line movie. Avatar could be a problem tho.

I don't expect it to happen anytime soon but I didn't mean "Episode X". If they ever want to forget the ST happened, they could just start a new mainline future trilogy without numbering. They can still appease the ST fans through "separate but equal" canon timelines since their movies are sill VII to IX, but the movies going forward are just branching off differently from VI. Like Superman Returns vs Superman III and IV. They should be set hundreds of years after RotJ, just establish that the OT people didn't fuck up and their lives weren't pointless.
