It's good for the first 3 seasons, where it's basically a fantasy version of shows like chowder and flapjack. I'd say the flame princess arc is a good stopping point, since it's when the show starts introducing retarded drama

Its starts alright/meh and descends into utter garbage quite fast. But the show had nothing good about from the start - the characters were shallow and boring, the plots made no sense.

It wasn't supposed to have deep characters or strong plots. It was just supposed to be a lighthearted comedy with a novel setting, but Sugar and Muto slowly turned the show into official fanfiction

Adventure Time peaks at the 3rd season, and is a downslide during 5, the stigma of that season alone makes you drop it, it kinda returns to normal later on but that particular season is such a crawl and hassle to ge through it can ruin the experience
