The article was basically, "Lauren Faust, a well known name in the animation industry, is now forced to work on rebooted properties, helmed by a big toy company. Creator-driven shows from the 90's pipeline are now dead and everything will just be a product were artists have to work exclusively on reboots".
Amid says this as if animation in general was not always about cashing in on some property and that brief period in the 90's where people got to do whatever they want was the exception, not the rule.
And even in the fucking 90's, some of the biggest shows like Ducktales and B:TAS were non-original properties. And MLP had just as much influence from its showrunner as B:TAS. Amid was just fucking stupid.
