Like sure, they're fucking tiny, knee-high to adults, but on the other hand, kindergarteners are shown as being half-again as tall as the main kids (unless you're going to tell me the Li'l Sparks are toddlers)
they have a modicum of interest in the opposite sex, a decent level of athletic ability and education level that makes them seem solidly 11 to me.
