nobody remembers anything and nobody ever did without constant reinforcement and repetition
90 years after an apocalypse there'll still be Jesus freaks because there's so many of them and there's so much infrastructure to work with
there won't be people who know shit about Thor and Odin because first of all there's like sixteen variations on that entire mythology from the various major groups who ever worshiped it and second of all nobody is out there building shrines to Odin or whatever because all the fucksticks that like that crap are either neo-nazis or new agers with other things to occupy their time
i mean literally Fallout has a better mythology even though the whole thing is a joke set in a universe which already diverged from our own a century ago
this is just sad, like those books about that town that inexplicably gets sent back in time 400 years
