I'd probably have to figure out something with her face if I want to try experimenting with those whiskers. I'm trying to keep her face simple and not too difficult or time consuming to draw.

I'm not entirely sure what I'm going with her, but overall she's kinda the bubbly, cheerful and expressive person on the team. She also does have a boyfriend who's a golden-coloured Sea Monkey, who is also on the team with her. As for the clothes, I'm trying to give bit of a beach and urban feeling to those clothes. I don't really have much of inspiration that I can go with, since there's quite few of it.
I tried to keep things realistic and "sense" since I wasn't entirely sure what I'm supposed to do with the clothing, since I don't draw clothing very often. And yeah you might be right, I don't think campy "feeling" will work very well with the direction that I'm taking. I'm just considering about maybe just dialling back the tone of "campy" and try make the whole idea be a mixture of slice of life and action. Though, I don't have any intention of turning this whole concept into a webcomic or any other kind of media, so I'm not really entirely sure what am I really supposed to do with this concept.
Here's a reworked body colour scheme that's bit more warmer and less blue, I'm not entirely sure if this works or not. I do feel like this looks much better than the original one, since there's some contrast and feels bit more balanced now.
