>>105648757>Examples?Jesus. The entire last year of anyone who criticized The Last Jedi?
Anyone who dared to criticize it for any reason, even tone, writing, characterization, anything, were portrayed as racist, sexist, misogynist, white supremacist, whiny entitled manbaby incels.
TNJ is just the strongest example, any company that takes any criticism for bad product as long as that product contains a) a woman, b) a non-white character, or c) a non-straight/cis character instantly deflects any criticism to sexism/racism/intolerance. It's pretty much the default mode for entertainment media at this point. It's the norm.
This is a comics board. How did anyone who criticized the direction Marvel took with the big diversity push get portrayed in media? How are they still portrayed. It didn't matter that 95% of the problem was that it was horribly written poorly designed trash, it all got portrayed as racist, sexist, intolerant white males pushing back against inclusivity.
