The foreskin has 20,000 nerve endings, it serves a sexual purpose, it helps against chaffing and it helps retain moisture during penetration. That skin is a functioning part of the penis even more so than a clitoris is to a vagina and that only has 8 thousand nerve endings, but we don't see female circumcision normalized outside of third world shitholes.

Instances of circumcision are 99% done on babies, it should be illegal to do so, not only do most doctors do it without anesthetic to save time, the pain is so immense that it can cause a baby to choke or have a seizure. It literally rewires a person's brain and can lead to PTSD, depression, anger, low self-esteem and problems with intimacy later in life.
Plus, like any other surgery done for cosmetic reasons, it can be botched, rather badly too: scarring and disgusting coloring are just appearance, circumcisions can cause Meatal Stenosis, Adhesions, "Buried penis" (where the penis loses so much skin it's forced inside the body and in adulthood prevents a man from having a not painful erection from lack of skin) and infections, some boys lose their penis as babies to this disgusting practice and over a 100 boys die to circumcision each year in the US alone.
Rather than taking such a nonchalant stance and calling it a "Cosmetic Surgery" people should start calling it what it really is: torturous genital mutilation.
