>>105400097>>105400061My bullshit theory is that the glow basically gives you power based on your ego/identity.
It doesn't effect Ramona negatively because she's "constantly changing".
It gives Scott fighting skills and he gets shit like 1-ups and coins because he's a nerd and wants to be a video game character.
It gives the vegan guy superpowers because he sees veganism as some sort of intense thing that only special people can do, and thus being vegan gives him superior mental prowess compared to other people.
The actor is super strong because he's an actor and he plays the role of a big tough guy, ergo becoming a big tough guy.
The twins build robots because after getting cheated on they probably felt really dumb for getting tricked by her, so working together would make them smarter, and the natural conclusion to being super-smart is making robots.
Even if Scott wasn't actually super skilled at fighting before getting the glow, he still fights a lot, and is generally combative, so having a personal best isn't too far flung.
Stupid theorycrafting bullshit aside, even if Scott just got his video game bullshit out of nowhere I should at least get some sort of boon towards fighting too.
