Barely anyone talks about it on Reddit and they all seem to be on board with Cates so at least on that front it's useless to expect good discussion.>>105371276
You should really check the third, some good shit happens there.>>105371442>I'd rather him have something stable compared to showing up in a mini for 1-2 issues every 6 months.
Same here, but that "something" to me means a solo series, or at least a steady focus on him... Not this GOTG, because it definitely looks from the very start that Cates will give his Poochie >>105369522
a lot more focus than necessary. The problem is, Marvel doesn't seem to trust Bowers & Sims with something steadier than a couple minis, Ewing is focused on Inmortal Hulk, and others like McCann and PAD are only in it for one-shots and minis as well, so who knows who might try a full ongoing.>>105371613>I guess the only way that would happen is for the MCU to announce a Nova movie
And I'm not so sure about that anymore, Marvel confirmed an Eternals movie down the road and Marvel editorial's response was to kill all of them in a shitty Avengers arc by Aaron, and then Brevoort said there were no plans for the Eternals at all because there was no interest whatsoever. So I think they're divorced from the MCU even in that sense.
