Basically, even though they don't realize it, they think that languages like Spanish or French which have 2 grammatical genders, and the masculine is also used as neuter (for example, for groups that include both men and women), are flawed/oppressive/the patriarchy.
So they are trying to force into existence a third neuter grammatical gender.
I find it ironic because two years ago implying that a language is defective, or that some languages are better than others, would have been a very right wing idea.
So, basically, instead of saying "Todos los argentinos" for "All Argentines", feminists now say "Todes les argentines". That way women don't get opressed by the patriarchy.
