I agree the film is fucking great but here are some other problems with it.
> Jumping jarringly from killing Zod to the drone scene.> Not addressing the destruction at all.These 2 could have been solved with a montage of Clark saving people from the rubble after taking Zod out.
> Kiss I think was done out of a need for emotional comfort not romance or lack of care about the destruction around them but it was still badly placed.> Tornado scene was badly filmed, needed to be much faster paced, Clark needed to get the girl/Martha to safety at the exact same moment that Pa escaped the car. As it is it seems like Clark was standing around doing nothing.> Lois could have used more snark. We care about him because he is sympathetic. He sacrificed having a social life and his father for the greater good. Because he is imperfect and can't do everything flawlessly.
