Because a lot forget the color scheme has something to do with it too, you don't want to drab computer colorizations of the 00's and 10's.

Stop with this stupid meme. The 90s had plenty of good artists. JRJR was a godly beast in the 90s, he sucks now but in the 90s he was a god. The 90s also gave us the kubert bros, same keith, kelly jones, matt wagner, jeff smith, and many others.

90s comics did use computer colors though. The Amiga and Macintosh were both being used for desktop publishing since the mid 80s

I said drab. There was definitely computer colorizations but over time people took drab computer colorizations to be "realistic".

Comics objectively peaked in the Bronze Age.

Generational shift / alternative culture exploding, college educated creators, more technically skilled artists, first generation of creators who grew up reading comics, loosening of comics code, dedicated audience, more experimental comics, older audience with better taste, mainstream appeal etc. etc. Comics will never be that good again.

I would say they peaked in the Dark Age (1985-2000)
They became a lot more thematic, introduced complex narratives, symbols, characterizations, and better art.

The best American comics always came from the underground scene. American indie comics are on par with their euro counterparts, if not a bit better

Probably because the 90's crash was the single biggest event of modern American comics and was caused by Marvel and DC's own stupidity, not to mention the industry never fully recovered from it.
