When someone say Superman, you think: rocket form exploding Krypton, good hearted farmers form Kansas, Metropolis, Daily Planet, Lois Lane, Lex Luthor, laser eyes, freezing breath and the others Superman-like powers, (notice the "Superman-like"), heroism, optimism, no-kill rule, THAT costume with THAT S-Symbol. And so on...
But what about WW? Let's see: shaped from clay or generic demigod? Amazon mental training or gifts from the gods or just there because Zeus? Contest or no contest? Amazons (but subverted) from magical island or gritty realistic amazons from the actual myth? High tech sci-fi civilization or sword and sandal culturally advanced society or tribe stuck in the bronze age? Utopia or rape-pirates? Steve trevor or Superman (or Batman)? Her powers besides strenght? Flight or no flight? Invisible plane or not? Superman-tier or mid-tier? Fistfighter or sword and shield? Killer or not? Ancient warrior or superhero-ambassador (and warrior)? Short-tempered or Wise-as-Athena? Naive or wise? Strategist/leader or brute/brick? Long lived immortal or immortal in her first lifetime? Costume (classic-ish or greco-roman)? Regular cast beyond Hippolyta? Regular enemies beyond Ares? I could go on forever...
