>>105165508It's just fucking dishonest to say it's universally considered bad. It appeals to a lot of people and has a huge fandom. People love it a lot.
However, it's biggest problem is that just when the plot builds up interest and momentum, there's something like an episode about people delivering pizzas, or some Watermelons running around or some other dumb bullshit. The pacing is fucking awful a lot. There's so fucking much bleh slice-of-life bullshit that I wouldn't exactly call "bad" but is boring as shit. It reminds me of anime shows that really just are about a bunch of high school kids going about an uneventful typical day and it's boring for the same reasons.
It probably helps to calm people with anxiety disorders down, and I'm not being snarky, this kind of "boring people living boring lives with no dialogue" probably has the same audience that unboxing videos and people eating their breakfast has on YouTube, but most people wonder what the Hell the point is, especially when there are so many interesting or entertaining things they could be doing instead. It's not actually bad overall, but there is so much of this boring fucking filler that seems to be just stalling or going nowhere.
