Maybe the Illumination Mario will spawn more Mario characters including DK but it's just what the games are like already.

A puppet Starfox movie is my pipe dream.

I think getting the main 8 Smash characters films would be the way to go. Mario, Yoshi and DK would be part of the same movie. Other series get films (Zelda, Kirby, Metroid, Star Fox) and then a Smash main film

I mean, Nintedo's got like five major franchises revolving around space travel. It wouldn't be hard to set all of the franchises on different planets and connect them that way.

So does Kirby, Shiver Star is Earth frozen over in Kirby 64. (It was so long ago that I'm not sure if it's canon now with all its modern deepest lore but still.)

Man can't stop eating. Becomes KIRBY THE DEVOURER through a curse, and cops have to figure out how to stop him from eating a whole city. He is sent to space at the last minute from the help of a high school kid who got a B in science glass. Very good.

I'll never understand why Nintendo won't take their IPs and make TV shows out of them.
Fire Emblem is popular and anime as fuck, so why have there only been two OVA episodes until now?
Make it a generic late-night animu and you'll get more people to play FEH
A splatoon anime would be perfect for actual children, airing at daytime

If focusing on a single series is too risky, just have a Nintendo compilation Anime, each episode about (read: advertising) a different game
