>>105015511thanks, I felt by having Simon and Betty around it could add to some plots, like Simon and Betty even acting as surrogate parents for Finn who relate to the whole... Human thing.
Marcy's new, heavily goal oriented adventuring would be a contrast from Finn and Jake's 'for the hell of it' adventuring, and also represent a sharp (albeit temporary) shift of Marceline acting very serious and feeling stressed out and helpless. She's SO CLOSE to having Simon back and there's a decent chance he'll vanish back into a madman the next morning, almost worse than him being stuck as ice king.
Naturally, Finn, Jake, Simon, Betty, and event Bubblegum ultimately help her return to her old self, albeit still having a goal in mind (which is alien for her) and able to enjoy adventuring.
I also had an idea, and it's kind of edgy...
But basically, at one point, Finn ends up on death's door, and in a desperate move, Marceline makes him a vampire. Which in finns case leaves him a berserk beast.
Ultimately most of why I thought of this would be for one exchange.
Macy: I only wanted to save Finn! I never wanted things to go so-!... Nuts!
Jake: Marce... He might not remember it, but Finn once wanted to fix things too and made 'em nuts.
The solution is Simon, Betty, and Bonnie, finding a use for the immortality serum as a potential vampirism cure. But delivering it to finn in his berserk state.
Marcy gets an idea and injects herself with the cure than goads finn into drinking her serum enriched blood, curing him and restoring her vampirism.
